Course Schedule

Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:00pm-8:00pm

Admissions Requirements:

  • Students must be be at least 18, or 17 and a high school graduate.
  • A government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport, is required.
  • New students will take a placement exam to be enrolled in the class that best fits their needs.
  • Students can request a Certificate of Completion for a level if they achieve a 2.0 GPA and have 75% attendance for a course.

Costs

The total cost is $320.00.
If you registering in person, please come to office 101 in the CESL building. Payment can be made in cash, by credit or debit card, or by check made payable to The University of Arizona.

University of Arizona Affiliate Discounts

  • For individuals who study or work at the U of A and their dependents, the discounted total cost is $293.00.
  • CatCard is required to receive the discount.

Day Time English Classes

If you are already living or staying in Tucson and would like to take part-time English classes during the day, this is for you! Students will attend in-person classes with our full time Intensive English students, up to 2 classes per session. 

Students will take an English placement test initially to determine which class level is appropriate and to verify availability. Our course topics are:

  • Written Communication 
  • Reading
  • Oral Communication
  • Grammar

 

Admissions Requirements: 

  • Students must be be at least 18, or 17 and a high school graduate.

  • New students will take a placement exam to be enrolled in the class that best fits their needs.
  • There is a $30 application fee and the cost varies by course:
