Intensive English Online
Our online program has the same levels, classes, dates, and total hours as our in-person Intensive English Program. There is a mix of live, online classes (10 hours per week) and independent work with teacher feedback (approximately 12 hours per week). We also have part time, single course options.
Students receive a full time schedule for the following courses:
- Written Communication (6.67 hours/week)
- Oral Communication (5.33 hours/week)
- Reading Skills (5.33 hours/week)
- Grammar (4 hours/week)
All students take an initial placement test, sent immediately after applying, to determine which level they will begin.

- You must be 18 years old (or 17 and a high school graduate)
- Please submit a copy of government photo ID with English letters, showing your date of birth
Part-Time English Classes Online
And if full time work isn't possible or you just want to target certain aspects of your English, we offer per course enrollment. Part-time students can register for up to two classes per session. All new students take an initial placement test to determine their starting level.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
You must have daily access to a computer or laptop, a strong internet connection, and a functioning microphone, speaker and camera. You will be required to attend Zoom classes and to participate with camera on. as well as progress through course materials through our online learning management system.
Yes. The online program includes over 10 hours each week of real-time interaction with the teacher and classmates, plus 12 hours a week of self-study activities assigned and reviewed by your teachers. You can also meet your teachers during office hours. In addition, you can sign up for extra tutoring (see our tutoring page for details and costs).
Because both programs offer the same learning outcomes, you can switch easily from Online to On-Campus between sessions (you can take one 8-week session online and then come in person for the following session). The application deadlines and requirements for each session need to be met for necessary visa processing and our admissions team will help you follow U.S. Immigration requirements.
