CESL offers a wide variety of English language customized programs for groups of varying sizes. We can create a program that fits your needs. Our intensive and part-time programs are varied and diverse; however, we understand that business, industrial, educational, and other groups may have special needs that go beyond our regular programs.
A customized program or course for you or your group may:
- Include special curricular emphasis such as US studies, Business English, or Intercultural Competence.
- Be for a professional group such as language professionals within company, business or organization.
- Have special dates and varying lengths of study, to accommodate your needs.
- Take place at CESL in Tucson, or at your location in the US or abroad.
- Take a class in a special topic.
Consulting
CESL has expertise in many facets of language program administration, including program coordination, assessment practices, curricular and material development, and overall administration. We can provide consulting on these areas and others. Contact us below through our form to find out more!
Workshops
CESL can offer professional workshops on a variety of topics, including:
- Language teaching topics (methodology, materials, assessment, etc.)
- English-language topics (grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, etc.)
- Intercultural Competence, working with international students
- University preparation
Consulting sessions and workshops are $175 per hour. Additional charges for workshop development or for larger groups may apply.

If you are interested in a customized CESL program, please contact us at cesl@email.arizona.edu. We will arrange a 30-minute consultation (in person or via Zoom), at no cost, to discuss your goals and budget. Then, if proceeding, we will request a $250 program setup fee, the cost of which can be applied to a future program (within 1 year), if a program does run.
