The CESL Annual International Festival is a special time to display your country and culture to the University of Arizona students and Tucson community. On Wednesday, February 19th you will have the chance to celebrate your culture through food, drinks, music, art, dance, and other creative ways.

Watch a video of a previous International Fesival here.

This event will be held on the UA Mall (Outside the Student Union) on Wednesday, February 19th from 11:00am-3:00pm. All CESL IEP and U-Track classes are cancelled on this day so that everyone can participate. And YES, you must participate--there will be class assignments in IEP OC/WC classes and UT classes. Other teachers may take attendance. Besides, it's fun and you'll have plenty of opportunities to practice English!. Set up is from 9am-11am and break down is from 2:30-3:30pm. We will have a large tent set up on the mall, and many tables. Students can use their table(s) to showcase objects from their culture, and teach the public anything about your country or culture. You get to be the teacher!

All students must meet at CESL at 9am to help set up (9-11am). The festival is open to the public from 11am - 2pm. You must help at the table(s) for your country/culture during this time. Live music performances will take place from 12:00-1:00pm--sign up with the teacher advisors for your country or region.

Anyone from outside of CESL who has questions or would like to get involved can contact Student Activities Coordinator, Jeremy Lee here
