The CESL Annual International Festival is a special time and celebration to display your country and culture to the University of Arizona students and Tucson community. On Wednesday, February 6th you will have the chance to celebrate your culture through food, drinks, music, art, dance, and other creative ways.

This event will be held on the UA Mall (Outside the Student Union) on Wednesday, February 6th from 11:00am-2:00pm. All CESL IEP and U-Track classes besides the first class of the day are cancelled on this day so that everyone can participate (and YES, you must participate--there will be class assignments in IEP OC/WC classes and UT classes. Other teachers may take attendance. Besides, it's fun and you'll have plenty of opportunities to practice English!). We will have two large tents set up on the mall, and many tables. Students can use their table(s) to showcase objects from their culture, and teach the public anything about your country or culture.
All students must meet at CESL immediately after their morning class to help set up (10-11am). The festival is open to the public from 11am - 2pm. You must help at the table(s) for your country/culture during this time. Live music performances will take place from 12:00-1:00pm--sign up with the teacher advisors for your country or region.
**An informational planning meeting will take place on Friday, January 25th from 9:45-10:15am. See posters in CESL/Harvill for the room assignments for your country/culture.**
